Formatting a Book, Yourself
Recently, we have posted a post about making a book yourself. Now this post we'll learn how to format a book yourself. As you know we need a word processing software in order to format a book, so choose the best software according to your requirements.

Once, you have complete writing your book in rough and checked the errors, its time to type the contents finally and format the whole book to got it ready. Follow these steps to format your book easily.
- Get all content typed roughly without formatting seprately in different documents. Like type each different chapter in different document files. Make clear markings in the contents so that you can later identify each and everything. Making different documents for different chapters will help you to arrange your contents easily. Also ready the other pages like: preface, about etc.
- Do Re-Checking, when all content typed. Use word processing software features or some additional things in order to check that your book's content is free of grammatical or other errors.
- If you want to add images and backgrounds in your book, get them arranged in a seprate folder accordingly. More systematically, you'll arrange, more easy it'll be to format the book. Also ready all the designs and other graphics too.

- One you fulfil all these requirements, you are ready to format the book.
- In order to format a book, you need proper knowledge of using word processing software also. It's very easy. I have formatted about 2 books without anyone's guidance and believe me it was not so hard. Using and trying the things will make you a expert. You can find some tutorials online easily.
- See some example templates. Check the designs and formats used by others. This will give you some idea about making your book's template.Finalize the layout and template, you wanted.
That's all you need to do. Get all of your content ready as per as your chosen format and template.
