How to Use Custom Template in Blogger?
Hello everyone, Blogger.com is the best free blog publishing platform. Many of the bloggers start blogging with Blogger. Blogger provides every feature, required for awesome blogging. In this post, we are going to talk about how we can use custom templates in Blogger.

There are a number of simple templates provided by Blogger. But as the blog grows, we require more customizable and different template according to our blog's content. In short we require some custom template for our blog. Blogger provides the feature to upload your own custom template as well as allow its editing. 
Let us firstly know how to upload a template.
Uploading the Template

1. Get the XML file of your custom template.
2. Come to Blogger's Dashboard, click on Template Tab.
3. In the Template Window, You will find a button of Backup/Restore at the top. Click it.
4. A new window will appear. You will see a orange button asking you to Download your full template (Your Current Template). You must Download it before uploading new template as it will help you in case of any error.
5. Click on Choose File button to upload the template from your PC.
6. Its done! Your Custom Blogger Template is uploaded.

The next thing is to edit the template according to your blog links. If you have get the template from the web, you need to edit it according to your blog. You need to add your Blog's Pages links and edit other information.
This can also be done easily. You may get a Index or tutorial guide with your template. You must read that guide in order to edit the template.
Now once you read that guide, you are ready to edit the template. Let me show you how you can edit your template.
Editing the Template.

1. Go the Template Tab.
2. There you see two big frames showing your blog's preview in desktop view as well as in mobile view. Under the desktop view of your template, you will find two buttons. One of 'Customize' and other 'Edit HTML'. Click on the 'Edit HTML' button to edit your template.
3. A template editor window will open, showing your templates's code. Edit the template as described in your template's guide. 

That's how you can edit your blog's template.
Thus, Blogger provides great features to upload custom blog template and to edit it.
